Capital Market Structure
According to the Capital Market Law No. 8 of 1985 (UU Pasar Modal No. 8 Tahun 1985), the structure of the Indonesian capital market is as follows:

- OJK
Responsible for carrying out the guidance, regulation, and supervision of daily capital market activities. - Indonesia Stock Exchange
An official institution that has obtained permission from OJK as the authorized party to carry out securities trading and provide supporting facilities and monitor the activities of stock exchange members. - Indonesia Clearing and Guarantee Securities Institution (KPEI)
Responsible for providing clearing and settlement services and guaranteeing the orderly, fair, and efficient completion of stock exchange transactions. - Depository and Settlement Institution
Responsible for providing central custody services and the orderly, fair, and efficient settlement of stock exchange transactions. - Securities company
A party engaged in business as an Underwriter, Securities Dealer, and/or Investment Manager.
Capital Market Supporting Institutions consist of:-
Securities Administration Bureau (BAE)A
party that based on a contract with the Issuer carries out the recording of ownership of securities and distribution of rights related to securities. -
Custodian Bank
A party that provides collective deposit and other services related to securities and other services, including receiving dividends, interest and other rights, settling securities transactions, representing account holders who are its customers. -
Mandate Guardian
A party that represents the interests of debt-type security holders. Its tasks include attending General Meetings of Bondholders (RUPO) and representing the interests of bondholders in relation to the issuer.

Capital market supporting professionals consist of:-
Accountants
Public Accountants provide opinions on material fairness in all matters, financial position, results of operations, and cash flows in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and provide guidance on good bookkeeping procedures (if necessary). -
Legal Consultants
Legal consultants carry out a comprehensive legal examination (legal audit), provide legal opinions (legal opinion) to the issuer and public companies. -
Appraisers
A party that carries out assessments of a company's fixed assets and then issues and signs an appraisal report, which is an opinion on the fair value of the assets compiled based on an examination by the appraiser's expertise. -
Notary
A Notary is a Public Official who is authorized to make the Articles of Association and Amendments to the Articles of Association, including the creation of the Securities Issuance Agreement, Underwriters Agreement and Sales Agent Agreement, preparing Collective Investment Contracts (KIK) of mutual funds and their amendments, and making minutes of the General Meeting of Shareholders. -

Investors are individuals or institutions, both domestic and non-domestic, who carry out a form of investment, either in the short or long term.
